Horse Pilot
Est. 2010"Technical Riding Apparel"
Brand Story
Horse Pilot was founded in 2010 by Aurélien Guillon, Simon Dewavrin, and Guillaume Janin. The brand aimed to redefine equestrian equipment by integrating innovations from outdoor and aerospace sports, focusing on technical expertise, ergonomics, and elegance. The founders believed that equestrian apparel had fallen behind other performance sports in terms of technical innovation, and set out to change that.
Since its inception, Horse Pilot has grown to be present in over 25 countries, driven by its commitment to performance and safety in riding apparel. The brand is known for its focus on sustainable fashion, utilising eco-friendly materials and offering a free repair service for its products. Notable ambassadors include French champion Nina Mallevaey, Thomas Carlile, and Grégory Wathelet.
Where They Sit in the Market
Horse Pilot positions itself as the benchmark in high-end, technical equestrian apparel. The brand targets serious riders who view equestrianism as a sport first and foremost, offering products that combine comfort, performance, and style. It caters to the premium segment of the market, emphasising innovation, durability, and a distinctly French sense of design.
Horse Pilot is committed to sustainable fashion not only through eco-friendly materials but also by offering a completely free repair service for its garments, allowing riders to extend the lifespan of their technical apparel indefinitely — a rare and genuinely generous policy in the fashion industry.
