Pikeur
Est. 1957"Tradition Meets Innovation"
Brand Story
Pikeur's origins trace back to 1957 when Haefner & Co. began operations in Uchte, Germany, specialising in custom-made riding wear. This marked a significant shift from the previous reliance on bespoke tailoring for equestrian fashion. In 1964, the company was rebranded as PIKEUR, pioneering the industrial manufacturing of equestrian fashion in Germany with a strong focus on optimal fit, durability, and style.
Pikeur's growth was marked by a long-standing collaboration with the German Equestrian Olympic Committee (DOKR), becoming its official outfitter in 1972 — a relationship that continues to this day. The brand was acquired by the Brinkmann Group in 1990, with Olympic gold medallist show jumper Wolfgang Brinkmann at the helm, contributing his competitive expertise directly to product development. Pikeur celebrated its 50th jubilee in 2007 and remains the definitive choice of German Olympic equestrian teams.
